Huge inspirations growing up were artist Bill Watterson, the creator of Calvin and Hobbes, artist Norman Rockwell, Studio Ghibli’s “Princess Mononoke” and “Kiki’s Delivery Service”, along with some stop motion movies such as “James and the Giant Peach” and “Chicken Run”. These talented artists created worlds that motivated me to become a professional artist, although at 9 years old, becoming a paleontologist to find dinosaurs was also captivating.

My years at The Art Institute of California - Sacramento was a chapter in my life where I truly blossomed as an artist. It started off promising with an art competition where I won the 2nd place scholarship. Once there, the professors at A.I. really pushed and encouraged me to evolve my art style into something I’m proud of. My final accomplishment in college was being nominated art director for our senior animation project, “Hardboiled”. With a team of only 8 students for a large project, I gained perspective and experience as art director, as well as an in-between animator and co-compositor/co-editor.

Thanks to my past experiences, I work well in Photoshop and Sketchbook Pro for illustration, Toon Boom Harmony for animating, and Maya for 3D animating and 3D modeling.  I've also developed a basic understanding of Premiere Pro and After Effects.

I’m a unique artist  that can bring my perspective to any team that I may work with in the future. In the company of fellow artists, I enjoy bouncing ideas and creating stories or characters together.
